Agent Studio · Import Leads

Turn messy lead lists into clean imports your campaigns can trust.

Import Leads maps your columns, cleans the list against your own rules, and shows you every change, so only the contacts you approve ever reach Eloqua or Marketo.

Agents do the work. You approve every move.

What Import Leads does

Everything it takes to load a list you can trust.

Upload & map

Drop in a list and the columns map themselves.

Getting a lead file into your platform usually means an ETL step or a manual field-match nobody enjoys. Attach a CSV right in the workflow and the agent lines your columns up with the real contact fields in your Eloqua or Marketo connection, with a confidence score on each and an AI suggestion for the ambiguous ones.

It maps to the true email identifier instead of a lookalike header, and rows with the wrong shape are skipped and reported rather than imported silently.

Reusable cleanup

Clean every list the same way, every time.

The way your team cleans a list shouldn't live in one person's spreadsheet macros. Bundle your rules into a named cleanup skill and it runs identically on every upload, with a starter library for email validity, consumer and role-account domains, and required email that you edit per connection.

Need a one-off fix? Describe it in plain English and the agent turns it into a deterministic, reusable rule, previewing the change before anything is applied.

Import Leads — Apply Reusable Data Cleaning Rules to Every Lead List

Standardize, dedupe & assist

Consistent values and no duplicates, run from a conversation.

Bulk imports fail on the small stuff: mismatched job titles, two-letter country codes, phone and date formats that don't line up, and the same person appearing three times. Import Leads standardizes mapped phone and date fields, maps source values with lookup tables, and collapses duplicate identifiers keeping the most complete record, while required fields like Company or Country hold approval until they're filled.

Run the whole thing from the assistant: ask it to apply a rule, summarize the import, or find a contact, and it always previews an irreversible write and waits for your confirmation. A history rail and shareable deep links get you back to any past run in seconds.

Review before write

See exactly what will land, and prove why it changed.

A live preview shows the cleaned list before a single contact is written. Blocking issues are highlighted on the exact rows and cells, and approval stays locked until they clear. Search any contact across the full staged set, fix a cell or drop a bad row inline, and adjust a mapping without re-uploading.

Every rule, transform, and manual edit is recorded with its row number and before-and-after values, like track changes for your list, so cleanup is something you can show, not just trust.

How it works

From upload to approved import in three steps

1

Upload & prepare

Drop in your CSV. The agent maps columns to Eloqua or Marketo fields and runs your cleanup skill, deduping, dropping junk and role accounts, and standardizing values.

2

Review

See the cleaned list in a live preview, search the full staged set, and fix anything inline. Refine with a plain-English rule or a quick chat. Blocking issues have to clear first.

3

Approve & import

Give the go-ahead and contacts write to your platform, with processed and rejected counts back in seconds.

Built to move fast, safe by design

The repetitive work, mapping, cleaning, and staging, runs on its own so your team gets time back. The one step that can't be undone stays yours: the agent proposes and stages, but it never writes to your database until you say go.

Why it matters

20–30% of your database goes stale every single year.

Contacts change jobs, companies, and addresses constantly. The list that was clean last quarter is already dragging down your deliverability, and every dirty import you load on top of it makes the problem compound faster.

$12.9M

The average organization loses this much a year to poor data quality, in wasted spend, missed pipeline, and decisions made on numbers that were never right.

63%

Of the time marketers spend on data is poured into repetitive prep, exactly the work a rule could own, instead of into campaigns.

Your import is the last checkpoint before bad data becomes your database's problem. Catch it there, or pay for it everywhere else.

Trust and security

Governed by design, across the platforms you already run

  • A human approves every write. The agent proposes and stages; nothing reaches Eloqua or Marketo until you approve.
  • SOC 2 Type II. Independently audited controls for security and availability.
  • Does not store your PII. Reads your lead files only to clean and stage the import you approve, nothing beyond what a run needs.
  • Deterministic on replay. Saved cleanup skills run the same way every time, so repeat imports behave predictably.
  • Tenant-isolated configuration. Rules, skills, transforms, and checks are scoped to the connection they belong to.
  • Full audit trail. Propose, rule apply, mapping edit, approve, and completion are all logged for governance.

Governance for imports

Governance is enforced by the server, not just hidden in the interface. The agent maps, cleans, and stages your list, but nothing writes to Eloqua or Marketo until you click Approve & Import. Every rule, transform, and manual edit is recorded with its row number and before-and-after values, and the write itself runs resume-safe over Eloqua Bulk API 2.0 or Marketo bulk import, so a timed-out import picks up where it left off instead of importing everyone twice. Every run returns processed and rejected counts and lands in a full audit trail.

FAQ

Questions buyers ask before their first import

Does Import Leads write to my platform without me approving it?

No. The agent maps, cleans, and stages your list, but contacts write to Eloqua or Marketo only after you click Approve & Import, or confirm the write in chat. Nothing reaches your database on its own.

How does column mapping work?

Uploaded CSV headers are matched to real contact fields from your selected Eloqua or Marketo connection, with confidence scores. Ambiguous columns get AI-suggested matches from sample data, and the true email identifier is preferred over lookalike headers.

Can I reuse my cleanup rules across imports?

Yes. Bundle your rules, transforms, and required-field checks into named cleanup skills that apply on every upload, with no AI on replay, so repeat imports behave predictably. You can also describe a one-off fix in plain English and save it as a reusable rule.

Is the import reversible?

Cleanup steps can be undone one level while you work. The write to your platform is irreversible, which is why it is gated behind an explicit Approve & Import. The sync is resume-safe, so retrying a long-running import never double-imports.

Do I have to trust the AI blindly?

No. Every rule, transform, and manual edit is recorded with the row number and before-and-after values, and nothing writes to your platform until you approve.

See your own list come through clean.

Connect your Eloqua or Marketo instance, upload a real list, and watch it get mapped, cleaned, and staged, so you can judge the result on your own data before anything writes. Prefer a guided look first? Book a demo and we'll walk you through it on your setup.
